Job Description

Added Scientific, a spin-out of the University of Nottingham’s Centre for Additive Manufacturing, helps companies research and implement AM, providing technical services including material development, process optimisation, training and strategy. Although we’re a start-up, we have gained a reputation for being able to do some very clever things and we’re growing rapidly. We apply our research expertise to develop future products and technologies for our customers, who are world-leading blue-chip companies.

We’re looking to recruit a summer intern to support us on consultancy projects. The role will involve market research and industry analysis; we need someone who can collate information, interpret data and see beyond the hype. Our customers look to us to provide insight into the AM industry that is based on evidence and experience. A good understanding of manufacturing and engineering considerations is important, as is an ability to critically evaluate information and see the bigger picture.

If you fit the below criteria and want to experience working for a start-up in a cutting-edge industry, we’d love to hear from you. We offer an excellent salary and we’re located just across the road from the University on the Nottingham Science Park, where we have a shiny new office and lab facility. Send your CV to jobs@addedscientific.com and, if we think you’d be a good fit, we’ll invite you over for a chat.
