Characterising polymer materials
We understand thermoplastics and how they are affected by different AM/3DP processes using different energy sources including laser beams and IR heaters. At ASL, we use this knowledge to help our clients to characterise new and innovative polymers and blended materials, suited to a range of thermoplastic powder bed AM/3DP systems.
Advanced metallic alloy printing
Our expertise in metal power bed 3D Printing extends beyond the production of complex geometry parts. At ASL we have the capability and technologies to identify, characterise and optimise new metals and alloys suited to metallic powder bed 3D Printing. Our expertise covers both laser powder bed systems and metal powder bed binder jetting systems.
